Q5. Which is better: paste or powder denture adhesive?
Both of these are effective at holding your dentures securely in place. They are easy to use and reassuring to anyone who is new to wearing dentures.
Paste adhesives have a firmer hold than the powder variety but are difficult to clean. The powder version is easier to clean but does not provide the same amount of hold as a paste denture adhesive.
There is always a third option: strip denture adhesives. These combine the best of both and do not result in you having to clean off excess adhesive from your teeth and gums.
